Sampoerna Foundation does not value educational achievement alone. It firmly believes that achievement in the classroom must be complemented by development of the basic values of life, including integrity, kindness, self-confidence and social responsibility. This is the key difference between Sampoerna Foundation and other scholarship-granting institutions. Sampoerna Foundation does not simply give financial support, but also takes measures to foster social concern for the less fortunate.

Sampoerna Foundation scholars are both academically outstanding and socially responsible individuals. They share the vision and passion of the Foundation, and will help in carrying on our mission.
