[Europe] Erasmus Mundus Master - MSc in Computational Logic

Dear CL-students,

as most of you know, we have expanded our MSc program in Computational Logic and have joined an international consortium with the Technische Universität Wien in Austria, the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in Italy, the Universidade Nova de Lisboa in Portugal and the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in Spain. We are jointly offering a European Masters program in Computational Logic. It is basically identical to our old CL program. Now, students select two of the five universities and study for one year at each of the selected partner universities and, if successful, the receive a double degree in the end. The best news, however, is that the program is supported by the European Union within the Erasmus Mundus program.

This means that we can give scholarships to non-EU-students. The scholarship is 42,000 EUR for the two years, which is really a lot. Details can be found on our web pages under http://european.computational-logic.org/

Please inform your home university, your friends and anybody else about this grant and study opportunity. I should add that the EU has added additional scholarships for students from India, Thailand, Malaysia, China and all other SE-Asian countries. The deadline of application for these grants is Feb. 10, 2006.

Please help us to give away these scholarships and please don't hesitate to contact me in case you have questions.

Best regards -- Steffen Hölldobler
