Applications are invited for College Research Studentships
The College offers Research Studentships to undertake work leading to an MPhil/PhD Degree. These Studentships may be related to Departments in all the Faculties of the College:
Arts and Humanities (English, History, Theology & Religious Studies, Music, Media and Art, Social and Cultural Issues and ICT in Language Education)
Business and Sciences (Applied Social Sciences, Geographical andLife Sciences, Sports Science, Tourism and Leisure)
Education (Physical Education, Professional Learning, Diversity andParticipation in Learning, International Childhoods, CharacterCitizenship and Values, Educational Leadership and SchoolImprovement, and Enabling Learning)
Health (Nursing Child and Midwifery Studies, Occupational Therapy,Radiography, Social Work, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities)
The Salomons Institute (Applied Social and PsychologicalDevelopment, Leadership and Management Development)

Studentships will normally be for a period of three years full-time or five years part-time, commencing in October 2005. Full-time studentships will provide free tuition and an annual stipend of £9125 p.a. (subject to change). Part-time studentships will provide free tuition only.
The closing date for applications for College Research Studentships is 15 April 2005.
