[scholarship] Arts & Humanities Graduate School Postgraduate Scholarships

Value: The scholarships are worth £9,000 (to be confirmed) and are tenable for one year.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible you must have been offered a place on a postgraduate programme (taught or research) in the Arts and Humanities Graduate School. You must not be holding another full scholarship for the 2005-06 academic session. Students on a doctoral programme may re-apply for a scholarship in subsequent years. Students liable for tuition fees at the International student rate should also apply for an Overseas Research Student (ORS) Award or find another means of meeting the difference between the Home and the International tuition fees.

Taught programmes:
Students applying for entry to a taught postgraduate programme wishing to be considered for a scholarship should complete a supplementary application form and scholarship application statement.Research programmes: Students applying to a postgraduate research programme need only tick the appropriate box on the standard application form. Continuing research students should complete the supplementary application form and scholarship application statement.

Deadline:
Applications for admission must be submitted to the University by the 31st March 2005. Normally only application which have been fully processed and students offered admission on a conditional or unconditional basis by 1 May 2005 will be considered for a scholarship.
